Overcomes stage fright and triumphs in pole dance

Suffer stage fright when offering any type of show, dance, conference or theater is something very normal and you should not worry too much about it. Even the most confident dancer may be afraid to dance on stage. It is good that you look for the way that fear does not affect your performance but that it improves it.

What can I do to overcome these symptoms in pole dance?

The first thing is to assume that you have some fear and obviously you should do something about it.
You can overcome the fear of the stage by training your body and your mind with some tricks to relax. If you want to know how to overcome stage fright, follow these steps. You will see that later you will be so absorbed in the dance that you will forget that you are on stage.

Practice pole dance

Part of the fear of acting comes from thinking that you will forget your movements and you will not know what to do. The best way to prevent that from happening is to become familiar with your movements as much as you can.

Practice as much as you can. Practice is the key, so do it until you learn it by heart. The more you rehearse, the more confidence you will feel. Not to mention that your performance will be of better quality in every way. Practice in front of your family, friends or empty chairs to get used to acting in front of the public.

Practicing in front of others will help you get used to the fact that you will not be alone doing your dance. Sure you get perfect when you’re alone in your room but, in front of the audience, dancing becomes something completely different.Practice with small groups and go to larger groups.

Relax the body for pole dance

To overcome stage fright, there are a few things you can do to relax your body before going on stage. Relaxing body tension can help you stabilize and calm your mind before your performance.

Make stretches. Stretching your arms, legs, back and shoulders is another way to reduce body tension.
Meditate on the morning before your performance, or even an hour before it, take between 15 and 20 minutes to meditate.

Find a relatively quiet place where you can sit comfortably on the floor. Close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing while you relax every part of your body. You only have to think about your body and nothing else.
